BA

I was born in the bustling city of Lagos, Nigeria. My family immigrated to the United States when I was 4 and after living in Norfolk, Virginia for 5 years, I spent the rest of my upbringing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended the University of Pennsylvania where I studied Neuroscience. Before attending medical school at Duke, I spent one gap year working as a research technician studying traumatic brain injuries in rodent and porcine models. I love mentorship and giving back to those exploring fields in medicine and higher education, as I have benefited much from great mentors.
