César Baëta has worked as lab manager, research technician, and clinical research assistant for the Goodwin Lab since 2017. Though he grew up abroad, César earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2012. Before matriculating to the North Carolina State University to pursue a Master of Physiology degree in 2015, he worked as a contracted Systems Analyst and Logistics Specialist for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions. César is a current graduate student at Stanford University.
César’s basic science research interests are with discerning the molecular markers that potentiate Spine Metastasis and in creating animal models of Spine Metastasis. His clinical research interest is to use patient-reported outcomes and other bioinformatic matrices to assess the qualitative outcomes of care for patients with spine metastatic.
