Ethan Massat

Ethan Massat joined the Goodwin Lab as a Research Technician and now serves as Lab Manager. A Boston native, he earned his BA in Economics from Hobart College before completing his pre-medical studies at Northeastern University. He brings experience from both clinical and research environments.

In his role, Ethan coordinates the collection and processing of patient samples from the operating room and applies histological and immunohistochemistry techniques to support studies of spinal metastases across a range of cancer types. He also oversees the lab’s daily operations and works alongside medical students on their individual research projects.
